Rick Edwards
With over 30 years in ministry, Pastor Rick Edwards has devoted his life to spreading the Gospel and serving his community. A graduate of Louisiana Baptist University and Seminary, he brings both theological depth and heartfelt compassion to his leadership. For the past five years, he has faithfully served as Pastor of Country Road Fellowship, fostering a loving, inclusive church family rooted in the message of salvation. Pastor Rick’s mission is to share the transformative love of Jesus Christ with all, creating a welcoming space where lives are changed and faith deepens.

Assistant Pastor
Jim Melton
Jim Melton has been a faithful member of the church for over 35 years and has served as Assistant Pastor at Country Road Fellowship since February 2024. Called to ministry more than 25 years ago, Jim graduated from Calvary Baptist Bible Institute in May 2004 and has devoted his life to serving God and His people. Married for 37 years, he and his wife are blessed with three children and ten grandchildren. Jim’s steady leadership, compassionate heart, and love for people shine through in everything he does. When he’s not serving at CRF, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Youth Directors
Jim Melton
For the past five years, Jim Melton has faithfully served as Youth Director at Country Road Fellowship, where his heart for children and young people continues to inspire the next generation of believers. With over 25 years in ministry and a degree from Calvary Baptist Bible Institute, Jim brings wisdom, patience, and a deep love for guiding youth in their walk with Christ. He and his wife have been married for 37 years, and together they share three children and ten grandchildren. Jim often says his love for children is one of the reasons God brought them together—to serve as a team in reaching His most precious souls.
Marianne Burney
Marianne Burney has been a devoted member of Country Road Fellowship for 11 years. Born and raised in the church, she began teaching in Children’s Church 10 years ago and has served as Youth Director for the past four years. Marianne enjoys spending time with family and friends and is actively involved in the Emmaus community. She has been married to Justin Burney for 19 years and is a proud mom of two.

Children's Director
Chelly Melton
Chelly Melton has been faithfully active in church ministry for more than 35 years and has served at Country Road Fellowship as the Children’s Director for the past three years. She and Jim, her husband of 37 years, were called into ministry together more than 25 years ago and continue to serve side-by-side — Jim as the Youth Director and Chelly leading children’s ministry.
Chelly is a proud mom of three adult children and “Grammie” to ten grandchildren. When she isn’t preparing lessons or spending time with the kids at church, you can find her traveling, enjoying time with her family, or laughing and fellowshipping with her church family. Chelly counts it a joy and a privilege to invest in the next generation and to share the love of Jesus with children each week.
